What have you lost?

Am I going to be in this constant agony? Because I fear it may grow on me and soon I will become use to it. Will it be healthy?

Because mostly people think, it won’t be. I fear loosing people because of this. I have already lost some. Their faith, care or even a bit of love for me has been lost.

But most of all, trust. I have lost some people’s trust and I guess you can have anything back but trust, it is that twisted simple thing which is easy to say but very difficult to gain. Especially when you have to gain it back and I learned it a very hard way but at a really young age.

Trust can be blind but it’s best if it’s not instead of blind because they will always doubt you.

If you ask me in a more simple way then I will tell you the simplest quote I learned in 7th grade. That is the only thing I can say really stuck with throughout my small life.

I can forget the name of my parents but I can never forget this line written by one of the most prominent poets of India, from the court of Akbar, Khanzada Mirza Khan Abdul Rahim popularly known as simply Rahim and titled Khan-i-Khanan.

He said in his one of his poetries, रहिमन धागा प्रेम का, मत तोड़ो चटकाय।
टूटे से फिर ना जुड़े, जुड़े गाँठ परि जाय॥

So if you don’t understand what it means, I’ll tell you. It says, don’t break that thread of love because once it is broken, you might not be able to put it together and even if you try then there always be a knot which you will never be able to untie.

Same is the thing with any pillars like trust, faith, honesty, understanding, communication and acceptance of the building we call life which is filled with relationships we create throughout the making of that building.

You can get all these warnings from anyone, parents, friends or maybe any stranger like me but sometimes it takes a good fall to know where you really stand so to know about yourself more or improve yourself more at anything in life. You might need these ruined relationships, mistakes, broken trusts, and loneliness to really be ready one day.

P.S. — I hope you and me, we all make it through. Just know that life might seem difficult at every point but you will realise that how things which takes us to the panick road just passed by life. It is inevitable still you won’t even realise. So no matter what, everything has to pass. Nothing can last forever, so it is all fine if you are okay or even if you are not.
