You can’t tell the difference you can just assume that.

If I tell you, that every person in this big world is the same. Would you believe me? No, You won’t.

Because according to you, God has made us different. But come out of that sleep. No one is made different. We all have our own things, I agree. But I can’t agree on the fact that we all don’t have something in common.

People even tried to categories it by sub categorising humans. They said the first difference should be
• Physical
Oh, see they look different. She has a larger pelvis and he has a narrow one. She has a cervix, which can satisfy men. But, what do men have? Oh, needs.

So I am really used to these tiny facts but was never amazed by them. Why? Because no matter how “open minded" the society is now, it’s always going to be the same. So, just stop there before even thinking of trying to out knowledge me, you diplomats!

Okay, now what should I say? This isn’t a diary so I should keep it to the point.

•Behavioural

Oh you are a girl. Don’t laugh like that. Don’t sit like that. Dear sir and ma’am of this honourable society. “Ladkiyo tak toh theek tha ab ladko ke saath bhi shuru kar diya?" Yeh jyada hogaya, right? Nowadays I don’t know about women empowerment but men oppression is surely on its peak.

Why do you care? what a young boy or for that matter a middle aged man want to do with his life. They are never asked if they would love to play a violin instead of a bat in their hands.

Why do you think, they need your approval to learn Kathak or to wear their favourite shade of nail polish? why, I mean nailpolish isn’t gender specific just because the boxes have women made over them putting it on their nails.

Well, what can I say, we are open minded we should avoid these small fusses, right? Because these create riots.

•Responsibilities

You are man, earn for your family. No ma’am, why can’t you? It’s the 21st century you should earn too but uhuh.. wait just not more than him. Oh, one more thing. Bring your kids back home too. I know you handle both office and house but kids they are your responsibility more. After all, you should be their primary care giver.

Son, you shouldn’t be a chef there are many other things in this world that can guarantee success. World is your oyester and you are it’s master. Oh girl, wait. MBA is a rough job why don’t you try IAS ?

Internship as a chef in Banglore? That’s too far. Will spend all the money to send my son abroad.

You might be thinking. What the hell is she saying? Times have changed. Actually, I believe they have but again if times have changed then that means now boys are in girls shoes? Why, I mean why can’t every individual lead a judgement free life, without having to think about being in each others shoes all the time.

Why does he, she, they, them, her and all those out there still trying to figure out why they can’t live their life on their own. Why are we trying to make our sons, daughters, wives, husbands, mums and dads to be like one another.

I know that these sub categories aren’t enough but these are some of those roles played by all of us. Doesn’t matter who they are and how they recognise themselves. All of them have to go through the same.

But still we say that we are different. I know there are arguments, actually alot of them to prove this wrong. Maybe I’ll want to hear some or not.

But I know we all have some things in common.

• Our life which God gave has given us I don’t know about science but Guru Ji’s have been preaching this. So, maybe it’s true.
• Our soul that’s pure. It’s nothing but that white light behind the tunnel with which most of those bed time stories end. When we reach it we always fall asleep.
• Our feelings, which you can’t deny. According to me we have all those categories of feelings in us all. It’s just a matter of expressing that we do differently. But that can’t make us different. So believe it or not we all are the same. We all have our demons. We all have our angels. It’s just a matter of expression and how we use what is given to us in common.

There are many things yet to be discovered and things I don’t have a knowledge about but I still tried to point out few but the main thing which I left for the last was the thing which I think is same in all and that is Hope. Every person is full of hope. For present to be happy and peaceful. For future to be successful and bright hence that is something I never lose.
